About CALET
The CALorimetric Electron Telescope (CALET), an apparatus for observing high-energy electrons and gamma-rays, is Japan’s first full-scale project for observing cosmic rays in space. CALET has been developed by JAXA and Waseda University in collaboration with Italy and USA. It was installed to the Exposed Facility of the Japanese Experiment Module "Kibo" of the International Space Station on August 25, 2015.
